My Client-First Philosophy
2010 proved to be an even more exciting year than 2009. In January of this year I was awarded “Realtor of the Year, 2010” for my company, Realty World Cape Fear. That award is given to the person who has produced the greatest volume. In addition, my company, Realty World Cape Fear, was awarded the distinction of being the top Realty World office in both North and South Carolina!
In order to accomplish this it has been necessary to deal with my regular clients as well as learning the art of short sales and foreclosures. It has been a challenging year, with a huge learning curve, but now I feel I can offer my clients expertise in all aspects of this complicated market.
2009 was an exciting year for me. I was one of 10 Realtors in Wilmington picked to be part of and to graduate from the first Wilmington Leadership Academy offered by the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors. I spent a good deal of time taking advantage of educational opportunities and received my GRI designation, as well as the SFR designation for the handling of short sales and foreclosures. As 2010 comes to a close, I am thrilled to have met some wonderful folks and had the joy of putting them in homes they love. It has been an extremely good year although to make it such, as a realtor it has become necessary to deal with foreclosures, short sales but thankfully, many people who are not in difficulty and just want to find that perfect home.
As a professional Realtor, I bring enthusiasm, integrity, community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a network of professionals to ensure that my clients are given every opportunity to achieve their goals, whether it is buying, selling or relocating and to make the process as easy and as enjoyable as possible.
The individuals that list with me are given the benefits of home staging, professional photos and after measuring their homes, a professional floor plan is drawn up to assist potential buyers in visualizing how they would be best able to live in the home. A Single Property Website is set up just for your property and your property is listed on numerous websites locally and nationally.
That said, in my experience as a Wilmington real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
My out-ot-town owners can rest assured that beside doing the normal things required to properly market and sell a home, I also go the extra mile to be their eyes on the property and to assist them in their absence.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
